The Knicks love math as much as they love losing
Duuuuuuude:
The Knicks have been 1-1, 2-4, 3-9, 4-16, and now 5-25. Figure out the pattern!! #KnicksMath

Unfortunately, they can't finish with a record following this square root pattern. 6-36 can (and very well might) happen, 7-49 is attainable, and 8-64 works, too, but unless the league grants New York extra games to lose, that's it.
And here's where I remind you that the Knicks were at one point 4-20, which is a funny marijuana number.
UPDATE: The Knicks got to 6-36!
It's especially incredible since the Knicks were 5-20, and then lost 16 straight games. If they'd lost 17 straight games, they would've hit 5-37, ruining the chances of keeping Square Streak alive.
But the Knicks managed to beat the Pelicans, ending the franchise record losing streak at 16 games.
We'll see you at 7-49.
