AFC Championship Game Point Spreads 2015

gronk The battle between the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots for the AFC Championship game is one of the most anticipated games of the entire season. On one side you have the best quarterback ever to play the game and on the other side you have a future superstar climbing the ranks with the best. Whether it’s Andrew Luck or Tom Brady, the quarterback who outperforms his competition will lead his team to victory and a chance at the 2015 Super Bowl. As it stands now Sportsbook.ag has the Patriots as -6.5 point home favs over the Colts. Below is our preview of Sundays game along with tips on 2015 NFL Playoff Point Spreads.

With two quarterbacks who like to air it out, the over/under is currently set at 53.5 points. The Colts and the Patriots are known for the expertise of their respective offensive units. With Andrew Luck leading his team to an average of 25 points per game this postseason and Tom Brady hanging 35 points on Baltimore last weekend, taking over would be a safe bet.

The Colts finished the regular season ranked first in the league in terms of yards per game (305.9) and will be able to rack up points on a New England defense that allowed 428 total yards of offense against Joe Flacco and the Ravens. The Patriots racked up 422 yards of total offense and stole the win by racking up 35 points against Baltimore. Expect this game to be all about offense, defense would be able to hold down Luck or Brady.

Last time the Patriots and Colts met, in Week 11, New England TE Rob Gronkowski had one of the less impactful games of his season, catching just four balls for 71 yards and a score. Gronk was limited because they were running the ball so well, but when Gronk had the ball he treated the Colts’ back seven like a bowling ball treats bumpers. He couldn’t be stopped.

Recent Trends to Consider:
