Cheap NFL Jerseys From China Review
Cheap NFL Jerseys From China, Are They Worth It?
The NFL is laying the guilt trip on a little thick these days. I’m talking about the Michael Irvin commercial in which he accuses those who wear counterfeit NFL jerseys as posers or non-fans. This commercial was on a heavy loop as I watched the NFL Combine recently, and after maybe the 5th time I saw it my blood began to boil. How can the NFL create a commercial that tells people to stop buying Cheap NFL Jerseys from China when the NFL sells overpriced jerseys made in 3rd world countries?
A deal is a deal and I’ll never stick my nose up at anyone who buys a bargain. I myself have bought a few cheap NFL jersey from China (or wherever) but I can tell you it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. I didn’t write this article to support the NFL and their catch 22 rules of buying counterfeit gear, I wrote this article to warn you of the poor quality these knock-off jersey makers are offering.
China-Based Cheap NFL Jersey Review
I’m an Eagles diehard, so right off the bat, you should know I’m a bitter fan with zero championships a passionate football fan who loves his team. I love my Eagles. I can remember where I was standing when I witnessed McNabb’s 4th and 26 pass to Freddie Mitchell, or the Miracle at the Meadowlands 2 and more recently the Birds knocking off the Patriots at Super Bowl 52.
Over the years I’ve put on many Eagles jerseys, some that I bought from NFLShop and some I bought from a guy who knows a guy who placed an order to China.
The first thing I can tell you about Cheap NFL Jerseys from China is you better not ever decide to wash it. I overlooked the fact that the Green wasn’t exactly the right shade of green on my Brian Westbrook jersey, or that the numbers and letters seemed larger than usual. Yet, it wasn’t until I threw the jersey in the wash that I realized how poor the quality was. The numbers on many of these jerseys are made out of a weird material that after you wash them go all wrinkly and warped. I’m not talking about like how a t-shirt gets wrinkled and you can iron it out, I’m talking like huge creases that are super obvious from a distance.
The easiest way to spot a fake jersey is the letters and numbers on the back. You’ll try and pretend like the poor quality doesn’t bother you as you got an NFL Jersey look-a-like for nearly half price, yet a real NFL jersey will not only last 3 times as long, you won’t be questioned about why your jersey looks worse every time you put it on.
My Advice
NFL Merchandise is definitely overpriced and I don’t appreciate the NFL making a commercial and taking shots at my level of dedication or devotion as a fan just because I decide to buy a cheap NFL jersey. The NFL could easily deter people from searching and buying these crappy knockoffs if they just priced their jerseys to cater more to the public, but unfortunately, it is what it is.
Still, even at a bargain of nearly 50%, I do not recommend buying a Cheap NFL Jersey from China. These jerseys cost around $40-$50 but will not last a full season. There are also added shipping costs, and good luck if you ever want to return something. The jerseys are lower quality in every way shape and form, and your jersey will stand out amongst a crowd. I probably wouldn’t have as many complaints about the knockoff jerseys if Reebok was still the main provider for the NFL, but since Nike has taken over the quality has really become noticeable.
Try Amazon
You have to factor in the cost of shipping when you buy jersey’s online, so if you can find a deal at Amazon, you’l save even more from their free shipping features.
Overall Advice
Other Tips
- Look through the Outlet section of NFLShop, you can sometimes find deals on hats and shirts
- To get the most out of your jersey, wash them inside out.
- Try to avoid buying a jersey of a new rookie or free agent, they don’t always pan out.
- There’s nothing wrong with buying a team legend. I’m looking to get a throwback Eagles Randall Cunningham jersey this year. Oldschool jerseys are badass!
