The Pittsburgh Penguins are Stanley Cup champions, again! It’s their fifth Stanley Cup in franchise history, and their fifth victory on the road. That fact did not deter the Penguins from celebrating their 2-0 win over the Predators with vigor, however.
There’s a lot to celebrate if you’re the Penguins. Back-to-back Stanley Cups is a rare feat, and they’re the first team to do so since Detroit in 1997-98. They also had been without their best defenseman Kris Letang for the entirety of the postseason.
And yet, they won again! It’s quite something. Here’s some of the best photos from their on-ice — and off-ice — celebrations!
