Fantasy Football Rings for League Champions

In this article, Mike Rigz talks about a recent fantasy football league he joined that features a unique trophy tradition. Mike describes the comradery of this league along with showcasing a few fantasy football rings for anyone interested in making that the award for their league champion.

Fantasy Football Championship Ring Options

A few years back, I joined a fantasy football league that had an open spot made up of a bunch of guys that all worked for this marketing company downtown. They wanted to keep the league an “office league,” but without finding any true fantasy football co-workers, they turned to friends. I joined last season and made the most of a quick rebuild. The previous owner must not have cared about his team as it was a total mess. The league was a 5-player keeper league, and the team I inherited had nothing but scraps and old bums. I put in 110%, made a bunch of trades, drafted some gems and made the playoffs in my first year, which was a moral victory considering how bad things were when I first laid my eyes on the roster.

Fantasy Football Championship RingThe league was fun, we used ESPN for the draft and got together every Monday night (after work) to watch the game at a local sports bar to conclude the end of the fantasy matchups for the week. I was invited out often and made a couple of appearances. I was welcomed right away and even got a beer bought for me as the newcomer to the league. I only knew two guys in the league, but you wouldn’t have known as everyone was easy-going and loved to talk football

After the first quarter – two beers down – the previous year’s league champ showed up fashionably late. His entrance was legendary.

“Steve” the 2016 champion, made an effort to fist-pump everyone. He would target a league owner with a fist bump and then move on to the next guy. Most-played along, others talked trash as we all laughed.

I didn’t notice it at first but on his hand were two huge Fantasy Football Rings along with what looked like his wedding ring. He kept saying everyone needs to “kiss the ring,” or “fist-bump the champ” and that he was working on his fantasy football brass knuckles. The fantasy league was in its fourth year, and Steve had won seasons one and three.

After he had settled in, and ordered another beer, I had to ask what was up with the Fantasy Football Rings. The league was shocked nobody had filled me in on their league’s tradition. As it turns out, there was $60 of the league’s pot money dedicated to paying for a championship fantasy football ring of your choice. I have been in leagues with trophies before, but this was my first fantasy football ring league. To be honest, if I hadn’t witnessed Steve’s entrance at the bar, I wouldn’t have thought much of it. But now, seeing how he was able to bring his victories to life was pretty cool.

The guys went on to tell me that a league trophy was proposed when the league was first formed back in 2012, but the concept of rings was suggested mid-season when the Patriots were heading to the Super Bowl to take on the Giants. There is a Patriots fan in the league, and the concept of multiple ring champions sounded cool to everyone at the time.

I didn’t think much of the ring theory that night, but after seeing the message board of old pictures of previous league winners (Steve winning twice and another guy) I started to buy into the idea. I’m now geared to get a ring of my choosing and hope to wear it at a future Monday Night Football get-together.

The following are some ring trophy options for a league champ:

Fantasy Football Rings

Fantasy Football Ring Concept 1

This was the top choice in my league. Two of the three winning Fantasy champs rocked this fantasy ring trophy. I would probably make this my first fantasy football champion ring, but I would want a different one with every year, much like how Super Bowl teams get a custom ring every time they win.

  • Quality Brass Ring plated in Rhodium (Silver color)
  • Includes a FREE FantasyJocks Ring Box for safe storage

Fantasy Football Champion Rings

Fantasy Football Ring Concept 2

This concept was the cleanest looking ring I found. It wasn’t super flashy. I think this would be a top 5 pick if I were to win the league.

  • Each ring comes with its display box as well
  • The impressive size of 19.8 mm with a substantial weight of 30 grams with an enclosed solid back.
  • Three-dimensional text and logos. Front – “Fantasy Football Champion.” Side 1 – “2016” over football. Side 2 – Lombardi Trophy.
  • Zinc alloy composition with nickel plating polished to an incredible mirror-like shine. Encrusted with 46 sparkling rhinestones to ensure that you have the bling every champion deserves.
  • Includes a red cotton flannel ring presentation box.
  • Ring Size: 10.

Fantasy Football Ring Concept 3

This is a new fantasy football ring that I added this year after checking out FantasyJocks.com, they specialize in championship swag for fantasy champs. I like these rings as their similar to the previous concept, but they have more of a Super Bowl type feel and look to them.

Details:

  • Fantasy Football Championship Ring (Gold or Silver)
  • Front text reads “Fantasy Football – League Champion”
  • Glass Stones
  • Sides have the text “Champion” over a trophy
  • Comes with a Black FantasyJocks Ring Box for safe storage

Fantasy Football Ring

Fantasy Football Champion Ring Concept 4

Something about this ring reminded me of Game of Thrones. I like this championship ring concept as well; it’s in my top 5.

  • Choose gold or silver finish
  • Available in 3 sizes (11, 12 or 13)
  • Includes a 32″ beaded neckchain and black ring box
  • Made of die cast zinc (metal)

Fantasy Football Ring

Alternative Championship Ring

This is just for fun. Obviously, if a dynasty ever started and all of the most common fantasy football rings are claimed, this Lord of the Rings concept ring could make for a funny troll option. I found this when I was bored browsing Amazon. I think what’s really funny about this ring is the insane number of reviews. Over 274 positive reviews about this ring.

  • Officially Licensed from The Lord of the Rings
  • One Size Only, Size 9, Meant to be Worn as Pendant or for Display
  • 24k Gold Plated Bronze Ring
  • Removable gold plated chain included
  • Includes Certificate of Authenticity
