AJ McCarron suffered a hairline fracture to his right collarbone in Friday’s preseason game againt the Browns.
McCarron began the game 3 of 6 for 12 years and was sacked in the contest. He remained in the game until early in the second quarter before the Bills replaced him with first round pick Josh Allen.
“All I really know right now is that he hurt his right shoulder,” Bills coach Sean McDermott said. “He’ll have some more tests when we get back.”

This March the Bills signed McCarron to a two-year deal worth $10 million after he spent four seasons with the Bengals. The deal included a $4 million signing bonus.
