The pre-combine Top 5 offensive prospects for the 2015 draft
With only 28 days until the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine, for most fans of the NFL it is time to turn their attention to April’s NFL Draft. February’s combine will see certain prospects rising up the draft charts, well others will fall out of the first round or even further. So, for those that do not watch a lot of college football, who are the pre-combine top 5 offensive prospects for the 2015 draft?
5. Kevin White – Wide Receiver – West Virginia University:
2014 Stats: 109 Receptions – 1,447 Receiving Yards – 10 Receiving Touchdowns
Kevin White is one of the most surprising players in this year’s draft. In 2012, White was playing for Lackawanna College. By 2014, White was 4th in college football in receiving yards, 8th in yards per game and 20th in touchdowns. White is able to use his size to win one-on-one battles and while he may not blow past defenders, he has enough speed to turn a short route into a big play. Although White played in a pass happy offense (9th in the nation in passing yards per game), he has the tools to be successful in the NFL.
