Carl Soderberg shoulders Matt Calvert in the head
Will another Bruin be suspended this week?
Another Boston Bruins player could be suspended for a questionable play after Carl Soderberg laid a high hit on Columbus' Matt Calvert on Saturday.
Near the end of the second period, Soderberg circled back up through his own zone to knock Calvert off the puck. The hit was head-high and pretty violent.
Calvert managed to get off the ice under his own power, albeit gingerly. He was clearly feeling the effects of the hit to the head on the bench.
Boston's Brad Marchand is currently serving a two-game suspension for a slew foot against the New York Rangers. Will Soderberg join him with a suspension of his own?
